Why 3D Rendering is great for those who are visually challenged!

3D Rendering

“Wow. It looks amazing! That is so much more then I expected. 🙂 I could never imagine using that front room but I look at that and my first thought was “I would use that all the time!” -Amanda Z.

Why 3D Rendering?

Computer Drafting and 3D Rendering are great for those who are visually challenged. If there are walls in the way or you have become too familiar with an room it is hard to imagine how great the room will look after the changes are complete. An interior designer / decorator’s job is to help you find the home you always wanted in the home you are living in and using 3D Rendering can make it easier for you to see the finished space.***

What is Space planning?

When starting a project one of the first things that must be done is planning your space. This is called Space Planning.

“Architecturally designing any space with all the amenities and mechanical gadgets to make it more functional for the occupants. Besides amenities, gadgets and good communication systems, it includes better sound and light control within the space. – http://www.triangleofficeguide.com/real-estate-glossary.html

“A term used to refer to the analysis and design of spatial and occupancy requirements, including, but not limited to, space layouts and final planning. – http://www.miltonterry.com/Glossary/Space-Planning.htm

So space planning analyzes your space, its function and your requirements  then works to incorporate all of it. 3D Rendering is a visual representation of what the space will be like when finished.

As I have said in previous posts 3D rendering keeps you, the designer, and contractor on the same page when it comes to the finished look of the project.

After you are done the planning, products will need to be selected and ordered.  Your designer can help you find the most appropriate products within your budget to complete the project and ensure your contractor has the specs.  It is best if you pick the products as soon as possible because some products have a long lead time for shipping and this can delay your project.

This is just a taste of the work involved, but if you have good people alongside helping you with your project, it will look great when it’s done.

***3D Rendering is an estimate of how the space will look. Due to differences in computer media and real objects as well as not having the exact rendering for every type of furniture your rendered space may not look exactly like the finished product.
